About Me

I've always loved flowers. Born into a family with roots in both military service and Space exploration, my whole life has been rich in the wonders of this world, cultures and science. As a child living in the countryside not far from London, I loved visiting properties, mansions, country homes and castles, and wandering the gardens was an especial delight.

Traveling Europe extensively as both a child and an adult, I've experienced firsthand what it is see how different cultures blend indoor and outdoor living. Aiming directly at wellness and delight, gardens and their flowers, colors, textures, emotions, spaces and outdoor experiences all provide an incredible gift to us. Through the lessons of trial and error, the simple yet profound beauty of tending to and watching seedlings grow, and the gentle reminder that life is bigger than just me, I have grown to relish all that flowers and creating spaces of beauty brings.

Creating with flowers, florals and spaces has been a part of nature and nurture from the start for me. I think multi-dimensionally, painting pictures and stories through florals, placement, shape, vessels, and more. What is seen is sometimes overlooked by what is not seen - positive or negative space, an inhale or an exhale, shadows or light...

As an Artist I create intentionally with heart, and what I find is most often, this leaves incredible space for tiny moments of unexpected delight! I love taking a concept and creating pieces "in situ" or in place. Having an idea or concept and going to the flower market to see what calls to my heart, then weaving together colors, textures and mood to tell a story. Creating pieces in real time, in their final place calls for both craftsmanship and courage. These designs are part of what makes my floristry truly bespoke.

Florals as a
force for Good

We believe in making florals a force for good in the world. Good for individual health and wellness, good for local communities and crafts, and good for floristry as a whole.
